Night on an African Safari
It's finally night. The blue sky, that was so charming at first but soon betrayed you with its scorching heat, has turned into a vast canopy of stars. Day sounds have been replaced by the regimented singing of crickets. You can feel the cool earth creeping through your blankets and a soft breeze ripples through the long grass. Gentle shuffles tell you that the horses are equally pleased with their release from the hot sun. You and your companions rest but are always aware of the danger that wanders beyond the glow of the campfire.
